Week 71

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been so long! I'm not gonna write a day by day email this time. Just a couple of cool experiences. 

So on Sunday, Whitney was able to come to church!! Not only her, but she brought her daughter! That was honestly so awesome! Huge huge blessing. Thanks for every one who has been praying for her. Keep up those prayers!

Also on Sunday, we met with Rick. He has been having a hard time with his health. Which is really sad. But, we went over and gave him a blessing. It was a really tender moment and he cried a little. Anyways, he also told at church he has decided he wants to get baptized sometime in December!! Super exciting for him!!! Please pray for him as well!

The two new Elders that came in are awesome! All four of us get along super well. On top of that, one of them I've kind of met before! Neither of us remembered until we brought up Nauvoo. He went in 2017 to watch both the Nauvoo and British pageants. We didnt realize until he showed us pictures, but I was in them!! So long story short, I had kind of met him two years ago and neither of us realized! Super cool!

Also this past Wednesday we had our weekly bible study! It was me and Elder Roberts turn to lead it so it ended up being just me leading the discussion and teaching it🤣 but it ended up being really great!! Afterwards it was kind of funny because a couple of people came up and told me that I would be a good preacher! I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing🤣 that can be your own decision though, haha! 

Anyways, things are going well up here in Gainesville. The work has been a little bit slow lately, but that's ok! We are teaching solid people but are just having lots of trouble finding new people. So please pray for us that we can find some new people that will listen and accept the gospel! Love all of you, stay safe!
