Week 56

Great times under a Georgia Sun

Hey everyone! This week was pretty good! 

On Monday we went up to Roswell for some appointments. Those went well. Afterwards we stayed down in my old area, STONE MOUNTAIN! I got to be with Elder Toole and Elder Martin again so that was super fun and exciting. We were able to teach a good lesson to one of their friends. Afterwards we were able to see one of my favorite members from when I was there. So that was a really good time. We also shared a message to her daughter who is about to get baptized. 

Tuesday we drove back to Athens and started to set up our week a little since we didn't have time to last week. We called some people and set up appointments. We were also able to get back in contact with Javier, a youth we found a while ago. Also we got to team up and visited Gladis and Lidia. That was good. We gave them some small pictures of Christ. 

Wednesday we had a big zone conference that was pretty good. A lot of the leadership got roasted so that was funny for me (I'm not in leadership). Also I was able to learn a whole lot about how I can improve my area and be a better missionary. It's so cool, whenever I think I'm doing everything I can the Lord puts something new in my path that makes it so I can continue doing more! It's  awesome. I love it. After the zone conference we headed back to our area and had an English class. It wasn't as big as we would have liked it but it was still a good turnout.  Which was good because we were running late from the meeting. 

Thursday I don't really remember what happened. But I do remember one thing. We were able to have a really good lesson with Javier. We caught him just before he was leaving. We had a really good sit down lesson with him and really were able to understand where his gospel knowledge is at. And not only that, but also what he needs to know. It was pretty cool. 

Friday we moved our apartment around because some people above us had been complaining about our fan, so that was nice.  Afterwards we went and tracted for a little while. 

Saturday we tracted again. Every appointment fell through so that was sad. We had a really good language study though. So that was a plus of the day. 

Sunday we had 2 people come to church. Not the number we were hoping for but we were happy with it! After that we had a comp study then went to visit the Herrera family for dinner. We shared a message about the name of the Church with them. After that we went to visit Lidia and then Karen but neither of them were home. So we went to visit Angel and Irma and they were pretty busy so we just said hi and bye. Afterwards we went to a different area and tried some less actives but mo one was home.
