week 86

The most beautiful sacrament meeting

This week was amazing. The first couple days were kind of slow.
But on Tuesday we had an exchange with the Hamilton Mill Elders. I went down to their area. Typically people say its hard area because it's fairly wealthy but it was super good! We found some people for them to teach and even someone who wants to get a blessing! It was a cool experience. The next day we woke up early and went to MLC. That was so good! The thing that I took from that was making prayer meaningful. It sounds super simple that way so let's put it this way, make every word intentional. Not going through a prayer and just saying words going with the flow. But making every single word have meaning. I loved that so much!

Saturday was super eventful. IT SNOWED FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE IVE BEEN HERE!!! Oh man everyone, one of the best days ever!! It was so cool. The only downside though was that we were told not to go outside at all. Bummer. So we stayed in all day, did some extra studies, napped a bit, and played phase 10! It was a good day.
Now for the header. The beautiful sacrament. We didn't know church was canceled. So we went at the usual time. When we got there, there was literally no one except the other Elders in the parking lot. Whitney came with her family before we could tell her it was canceled. Elder Gnatikos family was there. The high counselor, and one other guy named Brother Otis came. A grand total of 13 people. With that, I called the bishop and asked him if we could still do a little sacrament meeting and he said to go ahead. So we got everything ready, sat everyone down and said a prayer and took the sacrament. Oh man. I have never felt the spirit so strongly during a sacrament meeting. With all 13 of us in that cold morning, sitting in the chapel, 4 people not even members, the spirit was incredible. I cant even begin to explain it. I have gained a new appreciation for the sacrament and an even stronger testimony of all it can do for us.

I love you all so much and hope everything is well with everyone! Have an amazing week!
