Week 75

Apartment Parties

Sorry for not writing an email later week everyone! I had been sick the whole week so I didnt feel like there was really anything to report on. But this week was pretty great! 

Tuesday we had transfers and now we have another companion! His name is Elder Furlong from AZ. He's a cool guy. So now there are three of us. The other Elders that live with us are in a trio now as well so there are 6 of us in the apartment! It gets crazy sometimes! 

Wednesday we had district council and that was a lot of fun. Learned a lot and really got to get to know the new ones in the district. Then we had a meeting with the STLs to plan our zone focus! We decided to base it off of the conference talk "Lift Where You Stand" amd also the Light the World going on. Its lift your light where you stand! We're super excited for this transfer!! After that we went and did some finding. We weren't really successful in finding but we talked to plenty of people. We had some pretty good lessons though! We got to visit terrell in the hospital and his wife Sandie was there. He is recovering slowly but surely.
 Please pray for his fast recovery. We also went on a team up with brother Wangeman and invited Adrian to church. Then he drove is around and visited some less actives. That was fun. At the end of the night before dropping us off he took us to the wealthiest guy in Gainesville! Well, at least to his house. Next week we are hoping to meet him. Every one, this guy literally owned the SNAKE RIVER at one point. WHAT THE HECK?!?!?! So hopefully we can talk with him more. 

Thursday was a lot better in terms of finding. We found three people. Chase, Lexi and Cory! They all seemed pretty cool and we think they're going to progress! 

Friday we also had some good success in finding! We found Aila, Tim and Quentin. They all live basically right next to each other!! Its awesome! Praying about where to go to find prepared people WORKS! I've seen it work time and time again! Prayers really do get answered. 

Saturday was uneventful. Every lesson we had fell through! Bummer. But we were able to knock around a bit. But we didnt find anyone. It ended up being a lot of driving. We also had a dinner at the Turners house and they got us papaJohn's. Soooo good! It was the first time I've had it on the mission #blessingsonblessings.

Sunday was good. We had some people come to church! Rick, Whitney, Benjamin and Adrian all came. It was kind of a rough experience for them though. The microphone wasn't working so no one could hear. And a member came up and got mad at Whitney because her baby was being a little loud. That made us a little mad. She didn't seem to take it hard though. So that's really good. 

Over all it was a pretty awesome week! Hope everyone had a good week back home to! If love to hear from y'all! Hope it's a great Thanksgiving!

Everyone go and check out the Christ Child video the church put out. It is so special. There are hardly any words but the spirit can be felt so strongly! I love it so much! I'd encourage everyone to take a look at it!
