Week 66
9-23-19
Prayers Have Been Answered
Well, this email will be a little different. Also, so sorry I haven't sent an email in such a long time. I'll try to be better from now on! Anyways, the heading from this email really come from the entire week. I've been having some problems where everything I eat just comes right back up for the past 2 weeks. As you can probably imagine, energy levels have been extremely low due to not getting hardly any food digested. But, I know for a fact that I've been lifted up through the prayers of everyone back home. For all those who pray for missionaries, we can truly feel them when we are having difficult times.

The other thing I would like to talk about, is how I've felt the Savior. The thing that I hate the most is sitting around and doing nothing. So for the past 2 weeks it has been really hard. With throwing up and having almost 0 energy it has been hard to do regular missionary work and follow the typical schedule. Even with permission I had really started to beat myself up about not being as effective as I felt I could have done. I remember kneeling down for my nightly prayer and going through the day. Nothing extraordinary happened in that moment. It seemed like a normal prayer. After I finished I laid down and after about 10 minutes I thought I heard someone say, "don't worry, you are doing what you can and that is enough." I though it was my companion so I told him thanks and that I hoped he slept well. The only response I got was a snore. A minute or two later I heard, "have the faith to trust in me."
I know that the Savior is with each and every one of us. He guides and directs us through promptings of the Holy Ghost. He loves us and wants to support us. Times can, and will get tough. But the one way that it can be easier is to rely on the Savior and trust in Him. I know He lives. I know He loves us and wants what is best for us.
I love you all! I hope everyone has a great week!
I'm sending pictures from a bit ago because I don't remember if I sent them before or not
