Week 17
10-15-18
This week's will be short because I've got lots to do today, but it will get the highlights. But first the hurricane, all is well where I'm at. Just lots of rain and wind. No trees fell but a couple cars crashed here and there from the rain. Nothing bad though.

Tuesday was good. We had district meeting then went to some lessons. All five of them fell through so we went tracting. Visited a less active named Blacina. Had English class that went well and then went home.
Wednesday we got rain and wind from the hurricane. Didn't even know about it until the day before haha, good thing it wasn't bad. We also got a license for my companion. Then we got oil changed and a member from another ward saw us and gave us $50 So we can get haircuts and dry clean our suits for mission conference now! Super blessed that day.
Thursday I don't remember what happened other than we tracted a lot and didn't have any success.
Friday was way good. We got a new investigator and now one of our other investigators is on date!!! Hopefully that will go through. I can understand most conversation if they talk slow so that's good. Slow frustrating process but it's coming along.
Saturday was uneventful in the beginning but then we had a member dinner and met at a pizza place and we got calzones bigger than our faces. Super good. Then we had three lessons fall through so we went tracting.
Sunday was the most frustrating day. Everyone at church talks really really fast so I couldn't keep up and didn't know what happened for all the meetings. Except I know I was called gringo a lot. Nice. In the morning though, we had an awesome lesson with Santiago. He's super cool and asks me to talk in Spanish so I can practice, it's nice. He's a cool guy.
That's the highlights of my week. Hope everything is going well back home. I hope to hear from everyone soon! Miss you all!
