Week 2

6-26-18

Well, let's start off with the concussion. The day I got dropped off to the MTC I had a doctor's appointment for my head. So we go to the doctor's and find out that I have a concussion. All fine and dandy right? Well then the doc tells us that I need to go and have a MRI scan. So two hours before I get dropped off at the MTC I'm getting that done. Next, I get to the MTC!! YAY! Always fun watching your family drive off and having your mom crying in the passenger seat (sorry mom). Ok but being in the MTC has been super cool and way fun aside from the constant headaches and such.

Wednesday we got thrown right into the mix and started classes and workshops.

Thursday was all classes and workshops as well so that was kinda boring. That night though, we all learned that the orange juice here is a no go because it has laxatives in it. At least all the elders are pretty sure it does.

Friday we had exercise time which was a party. I'm not supposed to do anything but I couldn't help it and I played kickball with everyone. Party.

Saturday was filled with even more classes and we taught out first investigator who just happens to be out teacher(crazy how that happens).

Sunday was so cool. Up until the devotional it was super slow and easy going, but then it got cool. I was in the choir and with all my headaches I was thinking, how in the world am I going to do this. My head hurts already let alone being in the choir?? What am I thinking??? Anyways, during the devotional when we sang, not once did my head hurt!  Absolute miracle/tender mercy. Sadly right after it ended my head started throbbing so that was a HUGE bummer. But still glad for the brief moment without a headache.

But that isn't even the cool part. All 12 apostles came to the devotional!!! Super cool experience, glad I could be there to see it. Sunday night I hit my head again so that's awesome.

Monday was good, just classes and we helped the new mission presidents learn how to teach and talk with missionaries. That was fun cause we got to skip out on a workshop. Tuesday(today) we went to the temple then right after I had a meeting with the doctor about my head. At 3 I have to go talk to the branch president to talk about my options. So I guess we're going to see how that goes.

Well, there's my week for ya! Hope everyone is doing great!

Love and miss all of you
