Week 83

The Downhill

Hey hey hey everyone! Sorry it's been a while since I've written. Things have been kind of crazy. It was brought to my attention that I only have 5 months left. With that in mind I'll try to be better about writing these group emails. 

So this week was quite a crazy one. We had interviews with president and then two days later found out one of the missionaries we are living with is getting sent home early. So we've been doing that all day. On top of that, since Elder Roberts extended 2 weeks we are taking him down to Lilburn today as well. So that's kind of sad, we'll miss them both. 

Anyways, this week was good. We found a family. That was super exciting! We have been praying for that for a couple weeks and finally got it. So please pray for Teresa and Miguel. They're the new ones. Also, there is a part member family we started teaching! So pray for Ashley and Juan as well and their kids! We're excited for them! She wants her husband and kids to be baptized, how cool! We're working with them a lot! 

So, my studies of late have been a lot about the temple. More specifically joseph smith and the temple. One thing that's very interesting to me is his URGENCY to be in the temple. No matter where the saints are, the priority is to be in the temple. Even after getting driven out and leaving everything behind, the early saints continued to push for having a temple. Just as the early saints had the desire and urgency to be in the temple, I urge you all to have those same feelings. The Lord is waiting to pour blessings upon each of us for our dedicated service in His holy temples. There is a reason why they are here. Not only to help us but also to help those on the other side. As said in D&C 128:15 "They[the dead] without us cannot be made perfect—neither can we without our dead be made perfect”. I would love to here about your experiences and blessing you receive from regular, weekly temple worship.
