Week 79

12-23-19

Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone! This weeks email is going to be a little different, kind like a spiritual thought.
This past week was very special. One of the guys we've been teaching got baptized. His name is Rick. I'll drop a picture below. But hes been getting taught for two years. Having the opportunity to be here when he got baptized was something I couldn't be more grateful for. It was a small, but special service. Everyone who had helped him out along the way was there. Some of his now closest friends in this world. On sunday, he was confirmed a member of the church and recieved the Holy Ghost. This gift is the second most precious gift that we have EVER been given. It was a beautiful week. Then to top everything off, on Sunday after sacrament our ward watched The Christ Child video. After being deified by beautiful music and participating in Rick receiving the Holy Ghost I was already on a "spiritual high". One part hit me so hard. When the wise men finally got to Jesus, they kneel down. And the main one begins to weep with joy. He has a sense of relief on his face. I can only imagine how sweet the day will be when I meet my Savior. I hope to be able to kneel before Him and feel so joyful that all I can do is weep with joy and that same sense of relief the wise men must have felt. I look forward with peace knowing that through Him, the MOST IMPORTANT gift the world recieved, I can live with my Heavemly Father again. Not only that, but my family can and will be eternal. I love all you so much! Have a very merry christmas! I'd love to hear back from y'all!

Love,
