Sorry it's been a while!
Hey everyone! Sorry it's been some time since my last email! Things have been super slow over here in my area of the Lords work!
One have my companions has not wanted to get out of the apartment at all so I haven't had many experiences as of late. But on the bright side, I have been able to do a whole lot of studying! My favorite thing I've studied as of late is the attitude in Alma 20:29. They were patient in all their afflictions. I know that if we are patient with whatever the lord puts in our path we will without a doubt see blessing come from them. As long as we act faithfully throughout.
And here is a miracle that I have seen this week:
On Thursday we had an exchange. My trouble companion left the area so we were able to leave the apartment! And it was an amazing time. We were trying to visit some people but no one was home and all our appointments fell through. So we said a prayer on where to go and and right away I got an answer to where we needed to go! We confirmed it and went over. On the way there I thought, "hey we're close to someone else we're teaching" so we went over there first. They ended up not being home. And on my way back to the car the spirit kind of chastised me a little bit. Basically it felt like it was saying, "I told you where to go and you decided to go somewhere else. Do you know better or do I?" And it was just a really strengthening moment for me! We went to our original destination and were guided right to a blue house. There we met a less active family with a son who isn't a member and he knows everything about the church. We had a beautiful lesson with him about the Plan of Salvation. We asked what if he felt the spirit. He said that he did and that it felt like a warm sun on his heart. It was so amazing!
I know that we will be blessed for our efforts to serve God. Not only that, but as we faithfully act through all of our trials he will always be there to guide us and cheer us on. Many times, this cheering on will come from the scriptures. So I encourage everyone to read every single day this week from the book of Mormon!
Love you all!
