Week 48

May 20, 2019

Hey everyone! This week has been pretty busy! 

Monday we just played some soccer and then emailed the rest of the day. Good stuff. After P-Day ended we had a cool lesson with Rogelio. Awesome day.

Tuesday was our first day biking. Pretty neat. We only biked 6 miles but oh man was I winded. Not in the shape I was last year this time. But it was good. We're figuring out how to work the bus system with our bikes. SO SICK!! It's so much fun. We had an English class lesson that turned into a DOPE gospel discussion. She really wants to learn more about our church with her family! So, we gave her over to the sister missionaries. 

Wednesday we had Zone Conference. I was able to learn some pretty powerful things that will help the work! Also, don't be afraid to share the gospel with your friends! It helps the missionaries out soooo much you have no idea. I got to see Elder Chatman too! Pretty cool stuff. Right after the conference ended I went to an exchange with Elder Frahm with Elder Occon. That night we planned a little bit and did some finding. We had one pretty cool lesson about he Book of Mormon too! 

Thursday we had a lesson about temples and being sealed as a family. Oh man. One of the most powerful lessons I've had.on my mission. They were really cool and seemed to want to come to church. They said they'd go but I don't know if they did because I don't work in that area. That was the highlight of the day. 

Friday we had a cool lesson on the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. That was pretty cool. Other than that planning for their area and helping them find out what they need to do to help the work there. Nice. 

Saturday we exchanged back and went right to a baptism we were invited to. Completely forgot a picture, so sorry. But after that we did weekly planning. That ended up being pretty good. We have to plan for 4 companionships. At zone conference there was another cool announcement, we used to have 3 companionships (2 elders 1 sister) but we just got another set sent out to help the work. So 2 sisters and 2 elders (companionships) cool stuff. That planning took a while to get stuff figured out for them. Afterwards we had a SICK lesson with Regelio and he said he and his wife are coming to church with their family. Previously she was extremely anti against us so this is awesome. 

Sunday, THEY CAME!! SO AMAZING! And it turns out half the branch already knows them! They had some issues going on and the class that week talked about exactly what they needed. How amazing is that? Tender mercy for sure. I love this area! We also had another two at church that were recent converts and one that is preparing for baptism. So amazing.
