Week 44
April 22, 2019
Easter Sunday and Jorge's Baptism
So this weeks email will just be about a couple things. Number 1, Easter Sunday. One thing I absolutely love about Easter is the personal testimony I've been able to receive that HE LIVES! I know that Christ lived, suffered for our sins and died. And after that he was resurrected so that we can all overcome death! Easter is just about that, that Christ was resurrected. That he is living. That he is there for us. And, that he loves us! I hope everyone knows this, and if at this time you aren't sure, pray to know that you can feel His love for you!

The second thing I want to talk about is Jorge. Jorge was baptized this Sunday and here's what he said as to why. Not in his own words because I dont remember exactly but it's ok. --- I want to get baptized because of the way you guys are able to help people. I loved that Hermano Fernandez was able to call you to get a blessing. It's something that I'm not able to do but that I want to be able to do. So I guess I'm not getting baptized for myself, but so that I can be able to help other people the way you do.
How amazing is that? Jorge is from Venezuala, if you dont much about venezuala right now, it's in a really bad situation. All his family is over there and he isnt in the best of living conditions. But still, all he wants to do is to help other people. He knows about blessings and that we can give them to people because at 8:50 we were ending a lesson with him and got a call from Hermano Fernandez asking for a blessing. Right before we left we asked Jorge if he would like to come and see what it is. So we both drove(separately) over there. After seeing that his desire to help others was so great. He is so cool! We're super excited for him, please keep him in your prayers!
Love you all, hope you've had a great week!
