Week 20

11-5-18

Week Full of Activities!

Monday after pday ended we went to visit some people we're teaching. None of them were home so we tracrted that night. Not to interesting.

Tuesday we had the temple trip. That's always a really special day on the mission. We try to take a family name every time we go and it's really a special spirit. After that we got lunch and I had a bad migraine and couldn't open my eyes for a little bit. After that ended we went tracting then to a dinner. A recently dropped investigator was at the dinner and that was a little bit awkward. But now we'll be teaching him again so that's good.

Wednesday was good as well.(happy Halloween) we did tracting for most of the day then we had a dinner with a member. They own a Brazilian steakhouse and took us there. Really nice of them, it was good. After that we weren't allowed to tract again so we went to the stake center for a little zone party. That was fun. Played basketball and had a good little fireside.

Thursday was a day completely filled with tracting. That's all we did. No one wanted to hear our message and a whole lot of people answered so it was kind of sad. But it was good that we were able to leave good impressions on all of them. Several said we could come back if we were in the area but not to plan anything because they weren't really interested. Kind of good, hopefully it turns to interest if we can catch them again.

Friday was eventful. I had a doctor's appointment for my wrist. In a month we'll see if anything else is needed for that. Hopefully not. Then we went to pick up some prescriptions. After that we had another elder with us because his companion was at meetings and we went tracting. We met some cool people but none who were interested.

Saturday we did some more tracting because all our lessons fell through. Later in the day there was a group of kids playing soccer so we played with them. That was pretty fun. They liked us and said to come back any time.

Sunday was stake conference. That was good. We had members feed us for every meal, that was really nice. We went tracting and it wasn't working out at all so we went to visit a less active family. We had a short lesson with them and then asked their two daughters when the last time they had prayed to know if the church was true. They said they never had and then they promised us that they would pray for that answer that night. That was super cool. We're hopefully going back on Wednesday to visit with the family again to see how it went. Also we're hoping that we can get their grandma to come back to church again.

That's it for this Week! Hope everyone is doing well! Miss you all!
